Had bad lurching and fixed 99% of it by replacing EGR sensor. Still have a small hiccup around 26 mph only under very light acceleration and only when it's above 75 degrees. Could it be the EGR itself?

replaced my DPFE along with two other sensors (K2GZ-9F479-A) & (DS7Z-12A697-A)

The DPFE did help along with a recent Transmission filter & fluid change.... but the other two sensor installs COMPLETELY eliminated my other sub 25mph issues.... those sensors also increased the snappiness of the throttle feel... not the that it increased HP but certainly responsiveness at all speeds.

some sourced the parts better than I but even though I paid about $70 for both it was well worth it and extremely easy installs thanks to member { @Trash Panda }'s write up

I have had this “feature” for 4 years now on my 2019…it always happens between 3rd and 4th gear at around the 25 mph to 30 mph range as you stated. Usually I will only notice it once per day and it is like the truck can not decide if it wants to go into 4th gear.

I am just calling it a feature of the truck now. 😆 It’s annoying but does not seem to hurt anything.

Had the same issue on my 2020 XLT. (68k) Thought I was crazy at first, no codes, just at 25-40mph, fine on the highway. Followed @Trash Panda 's posts on the three sensors and added a set of plugs. Boom, stopped doing it! THANK YOU ALL
