I figured I would post this to help anyone who is looking to run skid plates with ADD bumpers. After purchasing a couple different skid plates I have found which one is best compatible with the bumpers. I originally purchased full RCI plates (engine, transmission, transfer case, and fuel tank). Unfortunately the ADD Venom R is incompatible with the front plate from RCI (Because the bumper has one built in). I then installed the middle plate (over the bottom of the engine/oil pain) and realized there is a significant gap. This caused concern as it seemed like a large hangup point and was concerned if i hit it on something it could damage the crossmember. I was then on the hunt. Eventually I came across the AFN skid. Unfortunately, it seems hard to get a hold of since they have been discontinued. However, it removes the hang up point and mounts flush to both the ADD bumper and RCI transmission skid. I have attached photos of the before and after with the different skids. It also appears that I have gained a small amount of ground clearance from the swap. Fair warning: the AFN skid has to come off for every single oil change. Both skids are great quality, with the AFN being aluminum and the RCI being powder coated steel.
