This was the maiden voyage of my 2019 Bronson S (with some tweaks). Still looking for some other PNW riders to cruise with in Western Washington.

My wife and I decided to hit the trails today. We headed up the hill into the Santa Cruz mountains and the conditions were perfect up there.
Looks dry and fast! Love the plate!

Thanks man. My wife got custom plates at the same time. She went with HRO DRT. Our neighbors gotta think we’re nuts.

It was definitely drier up there than it should be this time of year. We need some freakin rain

Just caught this thread: much gnar has already been hauled and shredded in my Ranger since purchase in November. Though I'm running a hitch mounted Thule tray style rack. I'm actually having a 2.5" level kit put on this week since the Ford rake tilts the bikes forward in the rack and I don't like that at all.

MUCH jealous of you all with seemingly unlimited bada** singletrack. I was quite fortunate to visit the Cuyuna MTB complex in north central Minnesota last summer and it was dreamy to say the least. Here in Nebraska, there's not a ton of great singletrack, but we DO have unlimited gravel and dirt roads to grind!!

Cuyuna has been on my list for a long time, since moving to Minnesota basically. But I'm just so out of shape and haven't really ridden in a while that I've gotta do a lot of re-training on the trails and dirt roads around here before heading to someplace real like that. Luckily Duluth, where I live, is full of trails all over the place. From sweeping single track, to old railroad grades, to super technical rock crawling on the side of cliffs. I'll hopefully start taking my old mountain bike (turned pavement bike) on the local paved trail to just get some cardio and leg workouts in before I try and hit the trails with my fatbike.

Hope you can get out on the trails soon! Sounds like you guys have interesting riding there.

I am late to this party but hauling bikes for us is a big big deal. Figuring out how to do this well is an expensive PITA. I love the truck make no mistake, but a 5ft bed and 6 foot bikes makes for a difficult combo. I want a topper but that means putting bikes on top of it or behind it and... I'm not taking front wheels off ever again, I'm super through with all that. That hitch rack is badass but now I have backup cameras and sensors I'm not stoked to immediately now abandon them. You can drop the tailgate and use something like a Ride 88 (https://www.ride88.com/product-page/double-v3-quick-kit). This was actually one of the more desirable options however have you seen what they're charging for the damn things? My god. $700 for a dual mount. I paid about that for this Yakima true, but at least I can do other things with the Yakima.

This is I think the best compromise for us.

The High Road rack (in the bed) stays full time, the Kuat comes out for special occasions. I'll pick up a DiamondBack tonneau cover eventually but wish they made a single-piece clamshell variant; the minute I bolt that rack to it all the access hatches are pinned shut. A single piece hydraulic assist variant would at least allow me to open it when I didn't have bikes on it. I guess I'll spend on bed lighting to see inside the locked down tonneau, but at least my bed gear will be protected.

I have since installed a ReTrax Cover and installed Spindle mount carriers on the deck.

Not necessarily on/in the truck in this picture, but I did use the truck to get my bike to this place. So that counts, right? haha

Either way, biking in some beautiful Fall colors a couple weeks back. Definitely my favorite season to be out biking.

Got out to enjoy the first accumulating snow of the season today! Sitting at about 2-3 inches of snow as of this writing. Not supposed to get too much more and it won't stick around long, but definitely a sign of the times to come, and come quickly based on this.
