Sorry everybody, here’s a very nerdy comment coming through :

This one looks like it might have some of the same time travel features as the DeLorean.

I see 1.17, BUT it’s 0.04 low.

It’s IMPERATIVE that YOU get to 1.21 jigawatts, if you want, consistent and reliable, time travel.

Doc told Marti & me that when he was tuning the DeLorean!

But for real/jokes aside: that looks so fancy and high-tech. I love all of the info displayed. Talk about an informed driver! You really have all the vitals on the screen!!!!. ???
it really is pretty cool!

Hey, at least it's not a damper joke... ?
Being new to this forum, I’m glad I didn’t accidentally crack a joke that has been done millions of times, and annoys the heck out of people!

And reading through I saw that there were some of those lol.

For what it’s worth, I really like the people on this forum! Lotta down to earth, people, and a lot of great info! I look forward to throwing ideas back-and-forth!

also, except for the jokes that I’ve probably been beat to death, and those kind of things, you guys all have a great sense of humor, so that’s right up my alley on the humor side. I like to have fun… But I like to work hard as well!

I have a fairly new iPad, tons of memory and a vid HD w/ fast processor. I would be very interested in the ability to hook that up and use it to read the gauges or change settings.

How are you using it? And is there a website you recommend or some sort of resource? I paid a fortune for that iPad so the more uses I can come up with, the more I don’t feel guilty!

What you’re doing might be way more advanced than I would ever imagine doing, but if it is some thing, right up my alley, I would love to know! Thanks in advance!

You're in luck! I happen to have 95 pages of info with an index so you don't have to read every single page... :like:

Congratulations! Out of my 25 years of being active on forums, contributing and learning, YOU ARE THE VERY FIRST PERSON TO EVER REPLY WITH THE “use the search” REPLY!!! ?

I want to say it right now, I’m definitely not upset or anything or being a smart ass. I think it’s funny and it’s been a long time coming lol.

I got started on forums when I was barely 15, as I knew I wanted a Mustang with a V-8, and ended up with a cobra, because a client of my father was selling one well under what it was worth, because she didn’t know quite what it was valued at. NOW I’M 40!

RE: SEARCH
Clearly, I know it’s there! It’s always there and usually quite underwhelming/unimpressive.

When I see questions, I try to judge them and see if it’s something that I am an expert or at least can guide (but need to have the time of course ).
In that case, I just answer it and help people. But I am known to go above and beyond, and it can be a burden, so I wouldn’t recommend it to people anyways, and totally understand.

but the funny thing is that it was a compliment, and I really thought the set up was cool, so it was wanting to know about that. I’ll probably run something different anyways but maybe I will run that… I’ll figure it out; I am quite capable (Plus I have a search function ?).

I guess I just take it different because when someone asks me, I’m happy to answer, and I’m proud that they like my set up

Lol but 25 years streak, and you ruined it for me hahaha!!!!
No hard feelings here, it’s just funny to me, because it was bound to happen, I suppose. Everyone thinks differently. Sometimes I help too much probably, so I could probably take a note from that.
.
??? I thought I was in the clear though!! here’s an abbreviated list of the forums I’ve been on throughout the years, corresponding with my hobbies… You could see why I thought I was in the clear ????
• MUSTANG
• WAKESURF
• SIDE BY SIDE (Polaris Ranger/RZR),
• BMW w/ B58 motor (inline6)
• WAKESURFING
• BOAT & stereo/decking it out
• OFF-ROADing (Ford PSD)
• AUDIOPHILE - professional home theater and
whole house and yard sound
• SMART HOME (Z wave, zigbee, matter, etc)
• Multi Git internet & 10 gigabit home net
Utilizing cat6a for speed, and PoE
IP cameras running off of PoE
Fiber optics to copper set up for now
[PoE = power over ethernet… The future]

And I say, that’s with a smile! I figured it was bound to come one day. ????
all right, now that I’ve been shut down, I’m going out to do some work on the track :). Lots of different things to install!

All right, then, I’ll be around! Everyone take care!

By the way, my name is Kyle ??
Hi Kyle...there's are plenty of members here who will say "try searching" but it's hardly fair to put me in that group lol...I gave you a "link" and I've even did what others haven't done with their build page...which is to provide an "index"...what I did was say here's the information you want but you'll have to read it...otherwise I'd be spending all of my retirement time repeating what's already in my build thread... ?

You’re absolutely correct (you don’t belong in that category at all!)

I actually didn’t read it correctly the first time. I REALLY do appreciate it!!

To tell you the truth, as soon as I realized that you weren’t telling me to go to the search bar, and that you really put in the time, I felt terrible, and like a total jerk!

Once again, thank you for sending me that link and kudos for documenting the process. It’s flat out. Awesome!

I’ll slow myself down in the future, because there are not so many people like you, who are completely thoughtful, and you deserve credit; not a comment that I made the first time!

My apologies, and thank you very much! ?

I look forward to going through that encyclopedia of knowledge! It really is impressive!

You’ll see my other comment where I apologize for not quite reading your first comment as it was written. I really appreciate it! We modders can have a great time and come up with some amazing stuff by sharing, just as you’ve offered

To you and everyone so far, this has by far been my favorite forum. Everyone is encouraging and helpful. Maybe back in the day the mustang people were too young (if not, young and age, young, as an immature,) so they were a little smart asses lol I think I was just too used to navigating that.
