I'm going to be putting a topper on my Truck as soon as I can get it orderd (after I have my truck, so it'll probably be 'round Chirstmas) and start converting it for camping. As I don't currently have access to a Ranger, would a kind soul be willing to take these measurments?

Tailgate to back of Bed:
Taligate to start of wheel well:
Wheel well height:
Wheel well to wheel well width:
Bed interior width above wheel well:
Bed depth (Tailgate height):

I'm going to build a setup to have a complete camping setup in the bed of the truck, and would like to start designing.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for that! It has most the dimensions.

Still looking for the distance from tailgate to wheel wells. Also, can somebody verify that the total length with tailgate down is 79"?

Thanks!
I measured 84" from the front of the bed to the end of the tailgate when it was down (7')

Also, it is kind of hard to measure the distance from the wheel wells to the tailgate due to all the curves, but I measured it at approximately 28" (conservatively) - could be 29"

That's close enough to design off of! Much apprecieated!

No dealership nearby?
I'm currently in Djibouti... Dealerships are bit farther than I can go in my day off!

I appreciate the sentiment, but here the concern is the local drivers. Signs, lines, lights... Those are just mild suggestions. Several times we have 4 vehicles side by side on a 2 lane road. On a bend. At 80kph.

All of this in a manual 5-speed 2.5 turbo diesel Isuzu D-Max.

It's the wild west in the third world. But the trucks they have out there are what really made me fall in love with this size class. I've been in a Hilux, a Nissan Navara, and a Nissan NP200. The NP200 had a functioning hood scoop for the intercooler. Now THAT'S cool. As much as I love the EcoBoost, I still would have gone for a diesel had they offered it.

There are some cool trucks outside the US, that's for sure.

If Toyota would've made the right decision and brought the diesel Hilux over to the US, I'd have considered selling the wife for one!
