Shifter staying in sport mode

At one time being able to go from D to N was considered a safety thing. Being able to quickly slap the lever into neutral helped when needing to stop quickly in slippery conditions by disengaging the drive wheels. Of course that was before anti-lock brakes and all the other electronics.

I still do the up hand slap to N when the ass end tries to pass me, old habits I suppose. Was also fun to do that to people parked at lights when you’re the passenger. I ended up walking a lot back in the day....

I heard someone say to use S when towing is that true?

Yes we do, I was wondering if using tow haul and S was recommended. I admittedly do not tow often, so just curious

i tried using tow haul while in S and it didn't engage tow haul until i put it back into D (light on I/C didn't illuminate until put back into D)

I just the +/- buttons on the shifter if I'm in a gear I don't like....normally downshifting.

Its 7th or 8th in town puttin around. up to 10th if I'm over 60.
