Seat wear

Just curious if anyone else with cloth seats are having this same issue? Might happen with Vinyl/leather as well but I doubt it. I thought this was from me getting in and out, or from movement from driving around. Well I made a point the other day while driving to look at the area (stopped at a light, not actually while driving ) and it turns out this is from the seat belt rubbing against the seat. It's a little annoying as I feel over more time, there will eventually be a hole there. I am thinking of looking for one of those Velcro seat belt pad things, maybe cutting it in half or something and sliding it down the belt to where it rubs on the seat to prevent any holes from forming.

This was discussed several years ago I am sure that that discussion is buried somewhere haha. But that was the main reason that I bought seat covers to put on my truck to stop that wear.

You're right. It was a thing a few years back. Some of us just used a fuzzy shoulder belt pad thingy moved all the way down to the seat bottom area to stop that wear.

Mine was doing that where I was getting in and out and it stained way too easy. I just put on seat covers. Cheap and easy to change if they get beat up.
