Scheduled remote starts

Am I understanding this right? If I schedule a remote start, say every Tuesday at 8:00PM, I need to actually start it all the way between remote starts, or it won’t start “every Tuesday at 8:00PM”?

Was playing around with this just yesterday; it seems remote starts with the keyfob, I could do as many times in a row as I wanted.

Once I did it twice, if I didn't get in the truck with the key and hit the start engine button, the app would not allow me to send a remote start signal to the truck until it had been 'driven' (step on brake, push start engine button with key inside the vehicle)

I imagine using the scheduler function will behave pretty similar.

I use scheduled starts twice a day, 5 days a week on workdays. I did get a message on a day that I didn't go to work that said something like 'Scheduled Starts suspended due to inactivity.' I had to get in and start the truck in order for the schedules to resume.

Here’s my deal. Say my Ranger is in my driveway in Maine (it is) and I’m in California (I am). I was planning on remote starting it every 5 or 7 days to keep it charged. Now it seems that I can’t do that because you have to actually start it up in person. Is that correct? That sucks!

From my understanding that is the case. It will disable scheduled starts if the vehicle isn't used.
