Funny as the Ranger gets closer to 5 years old I still meet fans of the Saber paint in parking lots . People still ask what is the color called and how beautiful the color is . Then I explain it was just a 2 year color and Ford should bring it back . This Ranger is the only time I choose the right color on any of my new vehicles . Had to get lucky once . Always used to buy blue vehicles .

I always got compliments on my '19 too. It was such a unique color out here because everyone has white or silver vehicles. Or maybe it was all the Graphene I applied. :giggle: ?

I really like Saber. Would have loved getting Saber. But I bought mine off the lot and ended up with Oxford. The two Rangers I had before (97 and 95) were Medium Willow Green metallic. My 1959 Ranger was Star Blue metallic and Snow White. For the record the 59 was an Edsel.

Well , Saber is the "sharpest " color I guess ? , I am somewhat jealous of the flashy "look at me !!!" colors , but WPP frowns on drawing to much attention to myself and I'm stuck with "something grey" ...

Warden did not want me to get blue. Said it was too bright for a truck. I didn't budge. Ironically the moment our daughter laid eyes on it she immediately said that she loved the color. (Her enthusiasm for the blue seemed to irritate my SIL a bit. His Tremor is Catus Gray. :giggle:)

Love it now when the warden and I are out goofing off and someone compliments the truck... and specifically the color. And yes, I always give the warden a bit of a look on those ocassions. :sunglasses:

WPP? Believe me, I am far from flashy.? I actually hated Saber when I first saw it in person at the Orlando Auto Show. Loved the Oxford. Husband wanted the gray. While we waited until husband would let me order, slowly fell in love with Saber.?
But, you are right, I definitely draw attention in it.?

My truck is over 5 years old now :shock:

I didn't intend to get saber, and didn't really care about it. I was going to order a truck to my specs when the very first one my dealer got was fully loaded just like I wanted. The saber has 'really' grown on me and I couldn't imagine it in any other way. It's cool that it was the 'launch' color of the ranger too so I'm proud of that.

I only wish it were more conspicuous on the highway, but the level, big tires, and tune don't help with that either.
