I think it's worth the wait, it looks much better IMO than the aftermarket hitches.

I think it's worth the wait, it looks much better IMO than the aftermarket hitches.
and I'm going more for the look more than the utility. I hate the bareness and the plug in cut out left side trim on the black plastic The rear looks weird to me without the tow hitch and plug in adapter .Yes, OCD.:)

I think it's worth the wait, it looks much better IMO than the aftermarket hitches.
Mike from Ford Parts told me that since this hitch was not installed in the factory, this will be considered "aftermarket" and require no modification of the bumper. This leads me to believe that what we will get is a Curtis like hitch with a Ford sticker on it hanging below the bumper and a plug attached to the hitch so the dealer doesn't have to modify anything. Would be interested to know if anyone has successfully had a post vehicle purchase hitch installed with the modified bumper and 7-pin connector cut into the bumper.

It's COMPLETELY different. There are other threads on here showing details of the installation.
