Running board huge chunk of paint came off

Anyone ran into this? It literally flakes off as I was sponging them down.

Pretty irritated over it. Is this something Ford will cover I don’t even have 8k miles on it yet.

If it came on the truck new then you have a good chance. The worst they can say is no.

Yea they came built/stickered with the truck from the factory.

I have a similar issue with mine. Big chunks of paint knocked off the running boards from rocks. Was in the dealer today and they said they did not cover damage like that. I have had mine for a year so I get it.

If I were you I would ask nd see what happens. I will say that most of the drop ford accessories have not been very good. This includes the running boards and the tonneau cover. I have a lariat which came with the running boards.
