I often carry an extension ladder, piping and conduit and other "long stuff" on my Ranger. At the same time, need the ability to open the front or rear covers on the tonneau.
On my old '02, I adapted bits from both an Explorer and Windstar for a permanently installed solution. For my '19, thinking about sourcing a roof rail and cross bar system from the ROW Ford inventory.
Both low profile between the rails and wider, higher profile cross bars are available.
Has anyone else tried this path?
