just reaching out to see if anyone here is using the Rough Country bed cover. I have a chance to get one for $300. Currently I couldn't view it online because the guy at Rough Country told me its on backorder and they removed it from the website. can anyone recommend it and show me some pics? thanks

I have it on my truck and love it - easy to install and zero issues.

thank you very much, this helps a lot!! no drilling right?
Of course! No drilling - just clamps to hold the rail that hold the bed cover itself. Let me know if you have any questions on the install.

Yup - there should be a foam strip (you can likely buy from a hardware store) to fill a gap between the bed cover and bed. The instructions call this the "Bulk Head Seal".

thank you, hopefully ill grab it today
It's a really nice cover.

When you go to install, my only advice (worth about 2 Canadian cents or 1 US cent) is to go out there with plenty of time and patience.

I thought I could install mine in 20 minutes and got aggravated when I couldn't.

LOL, karma then had me reinstall it for a total of three installs (I had to replace a bad one).

What took me forever was shimming. =(

There seems to be a varying amount of space (gap) between the plastic reail cover and the metal under it.

I had to be patient with cutting and fitting the shim material that comes with your tonneau cover.

My shim material was a cork-looking rubber with one sticky side. I had to layer these shims in a couple of places to get my tonneau rails nice and level. When there isn't enough shim, the clamp will pull the side tonneau rail down and angle it toward the bed. Then the tonneau cover won't sit flush.

It isn't hard, but my impatience and expectation of a rapid install was my downfall.

LOL, by the third fitting, I had a handle of how to do it! =D
