Positive hahaha. The paint was black. The one thing that sticks out too was that I believe it was the first car we had without the little rain gutters over the door.
I miss those... and vent wings too.

Protective tape . . .

Too bad the tape does not extend down where the worst damage occurs.

Lots of room for improvement . . .

Yeah, that sucks.

Mud flaps do wonders to help protect these areas... and some running boards... or, if you hate running boards, rock sliders with the top plates.

Mud flaps do wonders to help protect these areas... and some running boards... or, if you hate running boards, rock sliders with the top plates.
I had some small areas that the rock guard was unpainted from factory not from wear, I cleaned with alcohol and dabbed some t/u paint on it..
