Well another thread:
https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/cup-holder-hero-interior-trim-kits.4491/
led me to purchasing these. Needless to say I was off to amazon quick as lightning to pick up a set. Here is my review on em *note this is just my opinion ha*
Thickness 10/10
Flexibility 10/10
Ease of install 10/10
Durability (TBD) - they feel durable but time will tell
Looks: 10/10
Fit: 8.5/10
Packaging 10/10
Overall initial impressions 9.75/10
Note: I won’t show all pictures of them installed. If you have a specific piece you’re looking to see let me know in the comments.
Packaging/Opening/First impressions:
Like others I can’t believe how many nooks and crannies this covers. For $21 wow seriously. The only minor rub, no mat for the tray in the dash up by the windshield. That however is moot.
The packaging was a standard bubble wrap envelope with the mat pieces tucked inside a thin plastic baggie situation. Easy peasy to get out.
After taking them out and spreading things out....wow do I really have this many cubbies?! Apparently I do. I opted for the red trim because I like how it offsets the black and is a bit more bold.
Installation:
The worst part for me was thinking I had it figured out in my head and having to run to the other side of the truck to put in the right spot. Hey at least I got my exercise!
Fitment was pretty good however the under seat tray liner still looks like it’s sitting a bit odd. The others went into place fairly easily.
Under-seat tray liner placement and fit — maybe my eyes are just playing tricks on me:
The rest fit great. Here is a smattering or random photos if y’all have a specific photo y’all want let me know!
Rear passenger side door:
Front passenger side door:
Front Cup Holders:
Center console liners:
My phone storage area (under center stack):
All in all fairly impressed. They went in easy aside from a bit of lining up and there were no adhesives so I’m not worried about mucking my interior.
For the price I’m ecstatic (minus not getting the dash tray liner).
Would I buy them again? Well if someone wants to buy me another ranger I sure will
My only worry is they’re going to meet their end with a shop vac when I clean out the interior (mostly due to my forgetting to remove them)
Hope this helps anyone looking at these. If y’all want a specific cubby let me know I’ll grab a pic for y’all.
