Has anyone experience the removal of the rear corner trim panels (see attached photo)?
I recently had a mouse in my 2020 Subercab Lariet and the damn rodent chewed up the wires to the rear window defroster.
I have an appointment scheduled with the dealer on the 15th to get an estimate which I suspect will be expensive.
If it turns out more than I want to pay, I will attempt to fix myself by splicing in a new wire on both sides.
I need to remove those side trim panels to determine how much slack of wire might exist to determine how much I need and what gauge the wire needs to be.

I've had all the panels off in the rear of mine, none were difficult. The lower one covers the top one I think, so it has to come out first, and probably the door sill plate as well. Maybe they don't need to come out, but it makes reassembly much easier, and lowers the risk if cracks.

Door sill panels lifts straight up and off. Lower trim just comes off as well, use light pressure at the edges, and feel for the way it wants to move. Light pressure to ward the opposite side at an edge and it will pop off, then just work along feeling for resistance and apply light pressure.

You will need a T50 Torx for the seat belt attachment.
