Hello everyone. Bought my 20’ supercrew last year and the front right window has always moved up and down very slow. I have lubricated the window track but it didn’t help with the window speed.

Is this a window motor issue?

Thanks for any help.

The right front window is ridiculously slow compared to the other three windows. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what needs to be replaced to fix the problem?

Most likely the motor, but it could also be a dirty or loose connection on the motor connector.
I have not had the Ranger panel off, but most window motors flex some when moving and the harness flexes with it - so constant movement of the connector weakens the contact (pins) and over time create increased resistance (slow motor movement)

Thanks for your info. I’m going to take the panel off and check the harness and motor connector. Hopefully this may be the culprit.

I wish this was the case in my issue. I have cleaned both sides of the window on the edges and lubricated the channels but it didn’t help.

Noticed this in mine as well. And slow enough that when I auto-up it goes a few inches and gives up. Following.
