Quick question re: spray in bedliner

Booking my Line-X and I'm unsure what the advantage of getting over the rail is when It's sort of lined already - any reason I should get over the rail?

That wasn't even an option when I got mine. I wouldn't have done it regardless b/c I'm sure that would of messed up attaching my tonneau cover.

You would have to remove the factory bed rail cap, spray under it, and hope the cap would reattach over the spray build up, hopefully with no gaps. Probably would, but really no need.

I would guess that is a mistake by the dealer to even offer "over the rail". Don't see how that would work. Call them back and have them explain what they meant.

That was an actual thing before all trucks had plastic bed rail caps. But no need to now.

Yea def no need to do that. That is a common option on much older trucks where there are no factory bed rail caps. Dont do it. lol
