question on the sport painted bumper

on the painted bumpers, any chipping of the paint yet ? live in NEPA and with all of the salt and anti skid every bumper I seen had chipped, like the look of the sport but do keep my trucks a long time and do not want rusted bumpers.

My bumper has been completely fine, held up well amongst rocks etc.
The paint is what will get you. The paint on mine is garbage.

I've had the Expel clear paint protector installed on the wife's Mustang. It's worked great over the last year. It has one small nick on the right side, but it didn't get to the paint which is it's main purpose. And, it's cheaper to replace the Expel than it is to paint the bumper. Maybe that's something you would like to check into.

Mine got a good size chip that I touched up with Ford magnetic paint. The repair is noticeable when close, but disappears with some distance.
