So, Discount Tire is offering wiper replacements. They are selling Trico "Pro+" beam style, like Ford OE, for $45 installed. THESE ARE $5 WIPER BLADES ON ROCKAUTO. What the fuck. Just say no.
Are you sure they are the same blades? Please post a link to those blades on Rock Auto and we can see if they are indeed the exact same ones that Discount tire is selling.

I have to throw my opinion in on wipers and my vehicles only have Bosch Icons installed.

I'll say this, I got my truck slightly used at the Ford dealer in March '21 with 5000 miles on it and the dealer's service order showed an oil change and new Motorcraft wiper blades. I'm coming up on two years and they're still perfectly fine with no streaks and it rains a lot in PA.

Pro tip: Every few months scrub the windshield with a cloth and Bon Ami cleanser. You MUST use Bon Ami so as not to scratch the glass, don't use Ajax, Comet, etc. Gets the road grit off. Hose it off, dry it, and top with two coats of Rain-X. Same thing works on headlights too and keeps them from getting foggy. Side and rear windows you only need to scrub with Bon Ami once a year.

Yes this is by no means a knock on Discount Tire, I love them for tires and have used them for years. I figured it would have been something they could get for a reasonable cost, that takes seconds to install while your truck is already on a lift sitting there, and add a nice convenience for people. The price is a gouge though, sorry, just being honest! I mean, it isn't even the Trico "Ultra" or a Bosch, or anything reasonably high end either.

P.S. Subaru blades have some weird attachment style that only fits Subaru or something.
Auto Parts shops don't even carry them around here.
Special order only.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, Rock Auto is great.

Yes they do and I believe it's called a Denso connector.
