If you order anything from Rock Auto, plan on the box being a mess. I think they load the box from 8 feet away, stuff everywhere.

That is not what I said at all. That is probably the least charitable way possible to interpret what I posted.

Just to be clear, I am saying the following:

1). We ship from a wide variety of sources to get you products as fast as possible. As much as we like to ship from our own warehouses both to ensure products go out the door wrapped in Kevlar and for the sake of margins, that isn't always possible with the amount of products we list/various brand deals with distributors/comings and goings of stock with big sales days/the amount of product that's being built to order or on manufacturing holds these days/etc.

2). Even if a product leaves one of our own warehouses covered in Kevlar and wrapped in a spool of concertina wire, UPS/Fedex/USPS/DHL employee #72634537 may still run it over with a forklift (while this seems hyperbolic, it happens more than you think) and ruin its day, and often, they just send it on its merry way with the tread marks still on the box (this literally happened to the Hammerhead bumpers on my own truck, but those things are built like tanks. Hopefully Hammerhead comes out with Ranger bumpers, but we'll see).

HOWEVER, if a product does show up damaged or is missing hardware, OF COURSE we will help you out and work on getting you a new item or replacement hardware out ASAP. It's why I asked the OP of this thread to make sure all the hardware is there in the in the very post you quoted. We would've absolutely fixed the issue, if there was one.

This thread has outlived its usefulness.
