What is everyone viewing on their Ford procal display is it just the gauges is about the only thing useful? Or do you just not even have the thing displaying and put the thing in the glove box just curious. When I display the gauges the parameters blink is that normal?

Unfortunately, the brain trusts at Ford didn’t allow us to monitor basic engine vitals such a charging, engine temp, and oil pressure

BUTT, an my Lariat I can view the info on my quad display in two places. Their HMI team needs to be shown the door.

What "quad display are you talking about? And how are you getting oil pressure? Explain!

I didn’t say I could monitor oil pressure.

on the lariat the center console iPad like display can show, nav, audio, phone, and climate

on a lariat, the right dashboard display can one of the three items listed above

Sorry, your second sentence made it sound like you could view the listed information on your display.

There are several devices and phone apps that can display many parameters from the OBDP. Unfortunately the two I would like most, especially while towing, oil temp and pressure do not appear to be available on our trucks.

You post gave me hope maybe someone had found the codes to get at least one of them.

Ford does have oil pressure , charging, engine temperature and many more parameters available. Forscan is able to view these and many more. I am just showing a few of those available in this screen shot.

There is no oil pressure sensor on the engine only a low oil pressure switch. The Forscan display is a derived number from water temp, rpm, etc.

That's what I've always heard. A fake number is worse than no number if your using it to watch for signs of trouble.

The Ford electrical diagram shows an actual sensor for oil pressure, not a switch.

I know of no way, but the data is available to view in third party applications.

If that is the case where is it located? The sensor on the oil filter adapter is a switch
It is located below the oil filter. Attached is the connector diagram showing three wires and their function. It is not a switch. What you were looking at is the Variable Oil Pump Solenoid that has 2 wires. The pressure sensor has 3 wires.

Yeah.... That's definitely a pressure switch.

As far as the gauge display, load the tune, put it in the glove box, enjoy the truck.

Why would you say that, after all the documentation that I provided? It is not a switch, but a pressure sensor. An oil pressure switch can only indicate 2 states, enough pressure or not enough pressure. An oil pressure sensor indicates a whole range of pressures correlating to actual engine oil pressure.
The PCM knows the exact engine oil pressure and Forscan can display it in actual psi.
