I just bought one of these from Harbor Freight. Does anyone else have one of these? I’m going to start messing around with it and see what all it will power and for how long. I will update the thread incase anyone else is looking at getting one. I figured I might as well be the Ranger 5G Guinea Pig lol.

Really depends what you’re using it for. At 120v and 600w, you’re getting 5 amps out of it. That’s not even enough to run a hairdryer… Might be enough to charge a laptop and a couple phones. For me, 600w isn’t nearly enough power. Especially considering they call it an “emergency power source”. I guess it technically is but not really… Not trying to knock your purchase but honestly, I’d return it and get your money back. You basically spent several hundred dollars on a glorified phone charger.

I love these and think everyone should have one especially if you're in an area prone to outages. They've come down considerably in price since I bought mine and came in handy when we lost power in AR running basic lights and small appliances.

I have a Bluetti EB55 which I bought 4 years ago which can output 700W and can peak out at 1,400W. I mainly use it to power my 12v cooler when we're traveling and hiking . I can leave it running in the truck all day in over 100* temps and it'll only be down 30%. I wanted one with the LiFePO4 batteries because they have a much longer charge cycle (2,500 charges before reaching 80% capacity) where Li-Ion average 500-800 cycles, plus they are safer to use.

I bought it really to power my electric cooler and run a 14in fan at the ball field sometimes I always take my 1k Watt gas generator, but sometimes the generator isn’t practical during the game. I can use the generator between the games though. It’s definitely not for a real emergency power source lol.

It'll be perfect for that and you'll see that you'll end up using it more than you thought you would. I take mine with us when we go out for the day shopping. This way when you're out running errands and also grocery shopping you don't have to rush back home. You can just plug it into it and spend all day out doing stuff and not worry about your stuff spoiling.

I'll even use mine out on the back porch at night. Instead of running an extension cord to plug in lights I'll use the power station for a small table lamp. We have 3 recessed lights in the porch ceiling but they're all linked together and they're way too bright, plus they attract bugs.

I just realized we have been without power the last couple hours. We are sitting here watching the big screen TV and AC with everything else on in the house and it's getting dark outside. All the neighbors are dark 😆. Love our 12kw inverter and 50kwh of batteries. 40 mph winds all day have quite a few out. Nothing like a quiet reliable backup source. 600 watts will easily run most modern fridges in an emergency.

Power is still out and we don't care. I think Harbor freight sold a lot of generators today. Seen several trucks go by with boxes in the back and starting to hear the roar of generators. Soo old school 😁.

As an update. I used it a Softball tournament a couple weeks ago for running the cooler and a fan. It worked really well! I also used it tailgating at a concert Friday night. It ran the electric cooler for 12hrs and still had power left. Plus a fan for a couple hours. I would definitely purchase it again. It will be perfect for running a 32in TV on the boat watching college football! Hanging out on the beach watching football is going to be awesome.
