Why isn't there a under hood light option? Or standard? We like our bed to all lit up but being able to look under the hood is too much work...

Well sense the cold weather has come in I have started getting a plastic rattle in the top of my dash. Seem the colder it get the more it makes noise to the point of buzzing. The noise it coming from the area where the two different pieces of dash come together right in front of me and it's VERY annoying haven't had a chance to find a solution yet as it always happen in the dark early morning on the way to work.
Few options I can think of, most accomplishing the same goal. There's a space between the two panels allowing them to vibrate, you want to fill that space with a flexible material. At Wal-Mart or anywhere that has a craft section, you can get foam rubber sheets in all sorts of colors in 8-1/2x11 sheets. Trimming a thin strip of that may solve your problem. If its really lose, to the point where you can pull them apart a bit, you might try dabs of hot glue at intervals. hold them apart until it dries. The goal is to create rubbery dots, not glue them together. If its especially tight, take vinyl electrician's tape, fold the adhesive side onto itself, slide it in between the panels, trim to fit.

I get really annoyed by random persistent sounds like that, good luck solving it!

Just got mine yesterday, really like it so far and still trying to get used to it. That being said my pet peeves are:
1. No grab bar on driver side
2. Cup holders are small and cannot fit bigger cups.
3. Rear bench not folding flat
4. 2 little compartments under the rear seat, would like 1 large one
5. Auto start Via app the climate set at 72, really why not just stay as I left it
6. Recirculating air auto disengage
7. No step in rear bumper
8. No auto folding mirrors, no mud puddle lights
9. Some may hate this, no audio warning of blind spot, Lane keep, or pre-collision (I would like a ding or a beep)

It appears that the truck is sorely lacking in those areas, I can forego a dampened tailgate (DeeZee already makets a kit for that), but the lack of factory under rail LED lighting, even as an factory installed option is regrettable. Ditto for underhood lighting, I sure like to see in there when I need to. Sure, Ford offers a kit for bed lighting, but it's price is ridiculous for what you get.
Another "faux pas" is the lack of wireless phone charging in the cab.

5) I believe you can change those settings in the dash menu to have it go to the previous setting. Though that might just be with trucks that have the fob remote start option, I'm not sure.

9) It does give audible warnings for the pre-collision. And you can set it to vibrate the steering wheel for the lane keep assist.

Same. Now that's it's gotten colder all of the rattles and squeaks are starting to show themselves. One of my big ones is somewhere in the center console area. The dash in front of me does sometimes too, but that's less frequent. Really annoyed my at first, but I've always had problems with that on every vehicle I've owned, so I just get used to it after a couple weeks of winter driving.

FYI, for #8 (puddle lights) that is a Lariat only thing. One of the reasons I opted for a Lariat over an XLT.

Maybe I haven't gotten close enough to the car inferring of me. I have the XLT sport without the fob remote start and searched the menu and there is no climate adjustment with the remote start menu‍♂. Also other have complained about the horn on lock, but mine doesn't honk, no forscan applied (although I am wondering if I should get it).

Another let peeve, lack of bezle around the key ignition. Come-on it looks like it is unfinished. Just ordered one of the bezle inserts from China.

With Forscan you can make the changes for the climate control w/remote start, I can confirm this works as I also had to make the change in my Ranger.

Enable/Change Factory Remote Start Dash Controls:
IPC 720-02-02 xxxx-XXxx
21 (Disabled)
AA (Enabled - Vehicle Without Heated Seats)
FD (Enabled w/Climate Control)
FE (Enabled w/Climate Control and Heated Steering Wheel)

Thank you, might have to invest in a forscan.
I do find it funny that the Lariat trims have the horn beep on lock enabled while the XLT does not.

I know it was just recently mentioned, but they really need to improve how yo get into the bed. My Colorado has a bumper step. I LOVE that. The Ranger sits a few inches higher in the rear, has no step and it also has no good handhold! Its almost to the point where I have to sit on the tailgate to get myself in there. Cripes, I'm not that short and its a challenge.

Really makes you wonder how someone with the stature of Danny DeVito would get in there
