Code: P0630 - VIN Not Programmed or Incompatible

Ran into this after running a Forscan ABS test. Now it won't clear. Strangely in the PCM and BdyCM entries the VIN is there and correct.

I'm stumped on what happened.

I’m not following. I’ve searched the entire site for that code and no results found. So if you have a specific link to more information please post it.

Thanks
I believe this has to do with the LMS tuner doing the tire size change. Forscan didn't like something and between the tuner, forscan, and my truck it wasn't happy. I ended up restoring the PCM and BdyCM to original as built. I then did a PCM initialize/relearn. After that the CEL cleared and the code was gone.

I then went back to my LMS tuner to update the tire size back to where I had it. Factory I think is 683 or 681 and I change mine to 647 for 33's.

Went for a good 20 minute drive and now CEL so I think I'm good. I had read on the forscan forums that others have had issues using Forscan to change the tire size vs a handheld.

I hope this helps anyone else who might run into this.

Running into a similar issue. Did your fix work permanently?

In case anyone else runs into a similar issue, I had to restore to Factory AB using FORSCAN. Using the as built files I created when I first got FORSCAN didn't actually fix the issue.

To clarify:
- Loaded factory AB for PCM
- Loaded factory AB for BdyCM
- Ran PCM initialize/relearn
- Gravy
