Brake fluid attracts moisture, especially with the cap off. You may want to get it flushed now to prevent any Corrosion.

Yep, did not drive it till the new cap came in (and did not press the brake peddle either)... cut a piece of inner tube, draped around the opening and zip tied it on waiting for the cap... 2 days. Good thing I have spare cars.
