looking for some help with my trailer park lamps, I installed the Ford OEM trailer plug harness with backup sensors, plugged in the Ford OEM dual trailer plug, and i have +12v, ground, LH and RH turn signals, but dont have any park lamps.

Looked in the upper and lower fuse box and i found the RH turn / stop #63 and LH turn / stop #56 dont have connections in the lower juction box (but they work fine). But the Trail Park Lamps fuse #71 is there and good, but still no park lights.

Does the truck have to detect a trailer before allowing the park lamps to turn on? I believe the original 4 pin worked before changing over to the dual trailer plug and new harness.

TIA

Did the truck tell you a trailer was attached?
i havent plugged a trailer into the truck, i was verifying that the plug was working with a test light and trailer tester

The menu option for trailer attached is to set up Blind Spot (BLIS), and has no effect on voltage at the conector. I just tested for running light voltage (using a DVM ) on my 7/4 pin connector, and it's present without needing a load from the trailer lights. It may be helpul to verify that the connectors on the harness you replaced are fully seated.
