Picked this Lariat up Saturday.

I went old school chrome (polished) aluminum and red (tomato).

One simple question. Should I have a bracket here? Is it stock? I assume it was taken off to do the factory spray in liner, and forgot to reinstall.

I found this thread just to see pictures of those who had it, and figure out what I want to do for my cross board/brace. CAD a 3D part and use a 2x4 and finger dowels, so many options.

That is where the tie down bracket goes. Ford deleted this to save money. You can order them from Ford for both sides but they are pricey.

Should have 4 of them in the bed. If not then the spray liner guys got a side business going. They are pricey now!

I’m a little jealous of the chrome tailgate handle. My 21 Lariat just has the cheap black finish there that has started fading after only winter sun exposure.

Love that color. It's one of only two that chrome looks good on. The other is black.
I've seen a few Rangers around here, but have yet to see an SCAB.
