New Member from Alabama

Hi folks,
I just joined the Ranger family last weekend, the dealer delivered it from Mobile on Saturday morning. While not my first Ford (been driving Ford products since 2000, this makes Ford #4 for me), this is my first truck and my first actual new vehicle. I was in the market for an F-150 originally but spending 3 weeks with one as a rental sold me on the Ranger, plus an F-150 won't fit too well in my garage and the prices they're asking for them is just a bit crazy right now. The more time I spend with it, the more I'm convinced I definitely made the right choice.

My truck is a 2020 Crew Cab Shadow Black XLT (302A) with the FX4 and Towing Package. Everything I wanted except the color (first choice was Magnetic, but this deal was too good to scuttle over the color and Black was my #2).

This forum already looks like a great resource and I'm starting to collect a few parts for some upgrades (lighting, camper shell, FRPP Shocks . . . oh boy, I'm in trouble) as I'd like to use my truck for a little bit of light off roading and backwoods camping until I get my next project vehicle to fill that roll.

Hey, Ryan, welcome to the Forum. Same here, I drove an F150 for a week or so as a loaner before deciding on a mid-sized truck. That is, I loved the 150 but came to understand that it was not really practical for us! All's well that ends well! Your truck looks great, at least what we can see of it so far! Actually, I wanted a black one but ended up with blue, which I learned to love anyway!
