Hello 5G nation. I'm a hot hatch guy at heart looking for a DD that can tow my other toys. Let's get one thing thing out of the way; I'm a Product Development for FoMoCo. I don't work on the Ranger program so please don't ask for a bunch of insider info. I've been lurking on your fine forum for a minute and believe I'm ready to place my order. I know the new P703 is right around the corner, but I'm ready to buy and I like the P375 so neener neener.

MY ORDER:
2022 SCREW 4x4 Lariat
Carbonized Gray
501A package
Tremor package
Trailer Tow package
Spray-In bedliner.

My first mod will be RokBlokz XL mud flaps. After that who knows, but my intent is for this ride to be a DD, grocery getting, mall crawling tow vehicle. We'll see how long that lasts. My first ride in high school was a 1978 F150 Ranger SCAB. I might just get flooded with teenage memories.

Identical to what I bought for options. My only suggestion is to drop the spray liner; adds significant build time and quality isn't what you'll get from a local shop.

For mine it was about 3 weeks. This was last August. I've heard of it taking longer. Maybe they've got things sorted. But even if it doesn't add much time, the quality leaves much to be desired. The next time I'll be looking at Line-X or the like.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is 'hot hatch guy' and a 'DD'. The only double D I know can't tow anything but her purse and phone.

And I agree that the 5G looks better than the 6G

Hot Hatch- A category of hatchback cars with high performance engines. In my case, a 2016 Ford Focus RS and a 2011 MINI Cooper S. Others are Honda Civic Type R, VW Golf R, Subaru STI. The list goes on.
DD- Daily driver, as opposed to garage queen, weekend warrior, or dedicated track car.

It was on the lot back in May. Bought it immediately. Factory liner.

I just got back from placing my order at the dealership. Thanks to @halligan1201 , I opted against the factory bed liner. The sale guy brought up another interesting point; the local guys offer a lifetime warranty against scratches and tears. Now I move on to my order thread.
