How do you program new key fob for 2021 ranger lariat With push button start? I only have 1 key and wanted a spare. I got one off amozon for $35

I believe you need Forscan to do it. I had a local locksmith where I got a new fob and key from that cut and programed a second one for mine.

Ive seen many techniques online how to do it. not sure if they apply to an online purchased fob or not.
has to do with cycling the key, pressing buttons, chewing gum at the same time etc....

Never tried it, so mileage may vary.

OP has a Lariat. Do all Lariats have keyless entry??

Go to a locksmith they should be able to do the programing and the cost is lower

If you have keyless entry and you have two keys programed already you can add a third key. probably in your manual. I did this for my F150 very easy...

The key is No pun attended you have to have two keys programmed already.

I saw that too... (corrected as noted).... do they mean keyless start? My XLT has keyless entry.
also, if they truck has a pushbutton start, how are you supposed to turn the key when there isn't an ignition switch to turn it in?

Turning the key with keyless start is just pushing the button once but do not have your foot on the brake the truck will boot up but will not start.
