Wireless power transmission, pretty cool. The link to their press statement as a video with a breakdown of how it works. Would like to see it in action though, I have a feeling it'll have some kinks to work out.

dated article, some makers all ready using magnet free, Tesla in some models uses a magnet and a magnet less motor. little bit sleight of hand (typical marketing) about the wireless stuff IMO it's mostly an induction motor, but did just a quick perusal of the article.

I like the guy who put a small gas engine in his telsa and drove 1600 miles without recharging. Thst would count as an EV engine I think!
