I installed the skid plate and the small air dams on either side. I've been trying to figure out how they're mounted using Ford's schematic and going nuts.

Can anyone look under their FX4 and get a picture of how your air dams are attached?

Are yours loose at the aft end and can bounce against the skid plate?

On your third pic it looks like you’re missing a bracket and 2 screws on on both sides.

Damn it, I definitely am missing that bracket. I'm not seeing its part number on the schematic.

3 bolts 6mm with large washer and one 4 or 5 mm that mounts to the frame back in the tranny direction. 2 threaded holes in frame for this mount point. One of the 6mm closest to fender on both sides is a PIA!

I ditched these plastic shrouds. Just need to keep your crash bars clean so they don’t rust out. Pretty sure that’s what these covers are for.

That's a perfect picture, thanks so much. Found it in a random spot in that diagram, part number 17C886B.

I see you've been through the same struggle I just went through... those outside bolts were annoying.

If not mistaken from the picture the FX4 had a different braket for the splash gaurd/air dams. When I put the FX4 plates on I didnt bother with them and didnt have an issue

Wrong blowup. Notice that no skid or lower covers are present.
