Adding electric shutter to PX2 Ranger (elec help needed)

GODDAMNIT! There is literally ZERO reason Ford couldn't do this here in the states. The Aussies get all the cool stuff:

• Wild Tracks
• Bed Shutters
• The Beegees
• Mad Max
• Nicole Kidman

AGGGGGH! All we get are open beds and the Kardasians.

Hi all. Just picked up a cheap PX3 electric shutter to replace my hail damaged one on a PX2 (non motorised)
Just wondering if anyone has details on the configuration for the limit switch wiring, have figured out the open and close, but haven’t sussed out the limit switches yet. Even a wiring diagram would be a big help. Any help us greatly appreciated !!! Thanks legends

I have just fit and wired one in...works perfect.
Firstly buy a DPDT switch from an auto electrical shop

Find a positive and add a 20A fuse, then fit it to the switch...top left and bottom right
Find a negative fit it to the top right, bottom left
Using only 2 of the wires for the shutter...normally thick black and thick brown
Wire the 2 centre switch connections to either of these

Only use a spring loaded DPDT switch as this is were it gets tricky....once the shutter has closed/opened release the switch to stop the current flow.
I used a water proof membrane cover to prevent water ingress.

Remember this is only a basic open/close system and will not incorporate the pinch or auto stop function!

We are taking good care of ole Nicole here in Tennessee lol. Mrs. Kidman came into my Sister-n-laws interior design showroom in Brentwood a while back.
