New York Need Front Plate Mount and Hardware

Nope, for the $50 + tax I figure I could find someone on here willing to make a deal. Do you have one that wouldn't be missed?

This is the first vehicle in over 35 years that I'm leaving it on. It's required in my state (IL), but I've gotten away without it. Just one real ticket and about 3 warnings over that period. The Ranger just doesn't look much different with or without it on.

I did run across the bracket from my old 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Maybe you could use that?

Um, if the state you live in requires a front plate the dealer at no cost has to provide you with a front plate mount. Even the factory knows what state’s requires them during build. I would go back to your dealer and ask them again where the plate mount is. They can get one off the lot somewhere

I bought it used from a CarMax in Nashville TN so I don't think theres much I could do on that end. I didn't even think about it when I picked it up, and to be honest this is the first time I've been stopped in 7 years of having no front plate in NY.

Ok, that’s reasonable. To be honest factory plastic ones are cheap. I already broke one tab on top and it’s only 6 months old. It’s also marking my bumper underneath the tabs with grit sanding the finish. Bought my truck used and it didnt come with one. Got pulled over for no front plate yesterday, deputy was kind enough not to make it a big deal but suggested that I take care of it.

If there is anyone that has a front plate mount and the screws that go with it that they wouldn't mind parting with send me a PM. I'll cover shipping and throw a few bucks your way for the trouble.

go back to the dealer and ask for it. They are obligated to provide it.
