Halfway home from work I noticed this constant squeak.
I got home…checked doors fully closed, seatbelt position, everything.
Couldn’t replicate it so I went back out, took this video for sound. Stopped at a red light and when it turned green, the squeak never returned.
Maybe it was a twig stuck between the cab and bed. The squeak was definitely behind me.
My truck is scheduled for an oil change tomorrow morning so I’ll show them this video and see what they think.
Anyone experience something similar?

Almost sounds like something inside the dash/center console or under your seats?

I had a leaf and twig that made a similar sound that was stuck between the hood and plastic cover beneath the windshield, made a similar sound. I don’t think it’s mechanical related.

Since it stopped, nothing since so I think it was a twig or something that got stuck for a bit.
Just had my oil change and they do a complete vehicle inspection including road test. Nothing.
Great news at 37,000 miles… 8mm left on all brake pads!

Mouse probably just jumped out from your Ranger's under hood area.....
Squeaking was his way of letting you know the next stop was his......🐁
