I am curious to know what diffrence in mpg make if I decide to do the leveling 2 1/2 or 3 inch on my Ranger. right now I am getting 24 mpg combined with no leving kit installed.
I have seen no difference before and after installing ford performance shocks/ level. Average about 20-21. Have not installed larger tires yet, which would certainly reduce mpg.
There's a price for for every level of stance...leveling hits aero pushing more air under the truck...bigger tires adds mechanical drag...wider track increases frontal area = more drag...then add additional gear weight...oof....with everything mentioned, 72mph gives me at most 18.5mpg...strangely enough, at lower speeds like 50-60, I can see slightly more than 19mpg...
