Metra dash kit install

I am lost at this point with the metra dash kit. How do you disconnect this connector for the lower controls

It looks like somehow you press something on each end of that connector where there is an indent. Look at it closely and I bet you'll see it, is my best guess.
I would think the manufacturer has a video on their website or on YouTube. Curious as to what you're installing? Replacing the Ford sync?
