i know on non turbo vehicles, too little exhaust pressure can have an adverse affect on power. with turbo vehicles, at the upper echelon of performance, they run almost zero exhaust. im sure that if running pipes would give them a few extra ponies, they would do it, right?

i have the MBRP exhaust installed now for about 2 weeks. zero issues with extra vibrations.

IIRC, there is a flex pipe on the end of the downpipe? i thought i saw another flex point while i was down there... ill look later and verify but its something you could check pretty easily.

when i get my downpipe (going with the SPD option for the 3"exit) i will be cutting the 2.5" section of tube off of the MBRP kit and installing a stainless flex pipe coupler. i had considered a solid connector but ive run solid exhaust before and the vibrations can be super annoying, especially on shifts. my previous car also had poly motor mounts and solid strut tower braces so engine vibration was pretty prevalent.
