I have an XL with Vinyl floors that do not have the "retention posts" to snap into. Can any of you comment on how the Maxliner might stay put without those posts to lock them in? I see weathertech includes a DIY retention post kit but if the Maxliner fit is tight perhaps they are not needed?

I can't provide an exact answer, buy if you go to smartliner /maxliner website, they ask if carpet or vinyl. Plus they have 10% off and free shipping. Was cheaper direct than from Amazon with prime.

what are you guys doing with the carpet floor mats provided by the dealer? Are you just placing these liners over them? Went on Maxliner website but the fronts are sold out.

Still not as good coverage as WeatherTech.... they protect the kick panel and sill plates better.

I put the Smartliners in over vinyl floor in my XL. No need to add the factory retention posts as they are cut well and stay put. May not cover quite as well as Weathertech but they were only $126 for front and back.

Can anyone comment on if I buy just the front row - is it the same fitting as a supercab as opposed to supercrew?
I know that for the Weathertech's... the P/N is the same for front row SuperCab / SuperCrew

and according to Husky's website, there P/N's are the same also for front row SuperCab / SuperCrew

I just put mine in this week. Hard to beat for the price. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t cover as much as Husky or Weathertech but I’ll pocket that extra money and be happy. Also did the same removed front carpets and left the rears on.

I really liked these, and I ordered them right away. Many thanks for posting the pix!

So not getting any for Christmas I had the Maxliners in my Amazon list so went to buy them myself. I noticed the Husky was now on Amazon with both front and rear available and with only a $7 difference ordered those. Should get them around the 8th.

Received a set of the max liners for Christmas really like them they fit really nice in the truck. I originally put the carpet over them and then realized my kids would be in the back and the fronts don't lie nicely so I will probably put them with my wife's Atlas carpet mats and call it a day

I got the maxliners specifically for floors with vinyl. They don't have the holes for the mounting location. They fit really well.
