Lowering running boards

Has anyone lowered the factory running boards? They are just too high off the ground and tucked too close to the rocker panels. Anyone sell new lowered mounting brackets? A 2 inch drop would help alot for an old guy getting into the cab!

Not sure I've seen it done. Most opt for replacing them all together with something more to their liking.

That being said, I don't see why it couldn't be done. You'd want a pretty solid/sturdy relocation bracket though.
