Looking for a custom shelf 2020 ranger

I have a 2020 ranger lariat. I hard wired my radar detector to the left of my steering wheel. Now there is a spot on top of the vent.
I tried to manufacturer something myself. But couldn’t. I wanted a little shelve tilted up and toward me so I can see the detector. I thought a 3D print would be perfect

Any one have an idea? I can provide pics and measurements if needed.

I searched a lot of threads in here. I don’t think any one ever asked for something like this?
Is this a bad placement? I like the clean look.
I also removed FX2 stickers and ecoboost plate.

No different than it hanging below my mirror. I would remove it. ?

Now I have an idea of what you're looking for. Are you okay with losing some or even most of the side window defrosting from that vent?

I'm only a novice CAD modeler. give me a few weeks to see what i can come up with.

I got one of these to hold an old cell phone I'm using for my ODBII reader. It'll grip the defrost vent louvers and it's very stable. It comes with a steel ring that sticks really well to whatever device your using.
