With something bright enough, like a spot style light, I'm sure you could get plenty of useful light out from behind the grille. The holes in the honeycomb pattern on this XLT grille are pretty big. I mounted my smaller "fog" style lights in front of the grille. I like the look of it better this way, gives it a bit more distinctive look that I like.
I know there a couple people on here who have mounted the light bar style behind the grille.
Hard to tell with the lighting and everything, but hopefully you can get an idea of what's going on.
That CRX not sold in USA correct?I would've bought a Fiesta ST fire sale in a heart beat when Ford stopped US production...they were a steal
I'm personally a big fan of small displacement giant killers...
Here's two I still have in my garage...a 1.6L 245whp Mini and a 2.0L 355whp Cobalt
And my biggest selling regret...my first new car, 1986 Honda CRX Si Turbo Mugen...320whp...in 1991, no one knew WTF this was flying around..this was taken inside Ford's Design dome on the turn table
Is that the Lariet grill? 2019 XLT grill is different, not so openNot round lights but I had posted this in another thread.
I made my own... used existing threaded bolt holes to mount the 90 degree brackets.
Hey mate, I'm looking to do this same setup. Was the bar you attached your light to already on the ranger front end or did you add that manually?I made my own... used existing threaded bolt holes to mount the 90 degree brackets.
I like Fiestas...either the first gen or the last one but in RS trim... ?shhhh. never admit you like fiestas....never.
Not in that trim...I converted mine to Mugan turbo...That CRX not sold in USA correct?
Japan only?
I bought a 1978 Fiesta with a 1.6L Kent engine. Put an uprated Formula Ford head, two DCOE 40 sidedraft Webers with a AN88 Isky grind on a cam I had for my Pinto Racecar. Custom Header and flow through muffler.... Mounting Webers was a challenge but tuning them was a snap with all my Weber parts. What a little rocket.... My daily driver but Michigan road salt claimed it and by that time I sold off the Pinto Race car for the Super Vee and dropped a stock motor back into the car and sold it. Then of all things, one of my engineers, Bill L. bought an old orange Fiesta rust bucket.... My old car...I would've bought a Fiesta ST fire sale in a heart beat when Ford stopped US production...they were a steal
