Ford has been veery supportive of Disable American Veterans for quite some time. All of the DAV curtesy transport vans are donated to them by Ford. The DAV uses them to get veterans to and from their VA appointments if they have no other transportation.

Ford also offers their X Plan pricing for DAV members. I ended up not using the X Plan pricing since the dealer had enough incentives that made the Ranger cheaper.

That is a good deal with the extra $1000 + customer incentives. With that said, it still pays to shop around because some dealers offer their own incentives in addition to Ford incentives. The dealer that I bought my Ranger from in June had their own incentives + the Ford incentives which beat any savings I would have gotten using the X Plan pricing.
