I've been having an issue with my transmission shifting hard, it's worse when cold (it's still winter in Ontario), and especially on downshifts. I've towed once with this truck (new, empty trailer, approx 1200 lbs). Truck had less than 2000km when I took it into the dealer and asked them to check fluid levels like many here have had issues with. They found an issue with the valve body and torque converter. They reset something and asked me to come back in a week. Same codes and (nearly) the same driving experience. They're waiting on parts now to replace the torque converter and valve body. Unfortunately not the experience I was expecting from my new truck, but ideally, this will solve the problem. At least Ford gave me a rental for the time being. Hopefully, this takes only a week for parts like they're estimating!
