I came across your build thread while searching for tow mirrors for my '19 Ranger. I didn't see any tow mirrors in the thread (poor search?) but did see the Miata reference. Similarly, I sold my 2000 SE with 226K on the clock that I bought new in June, 2000 when I bought the Ranger. Loved that 6 sp and the grip the Miata had on the road. I miss that car but really enjoy the Ranger. Now, back to trying to find some tow mirrors.....
Maybe it picked up my post, because I recently posted about adding the mirror covers? Cool with the Miata. Mine was cool and I replaced absolutely everything, but I think the new Ranger fits me much better :)

Got my Cravenspeed "Stubby" 2" Antenna today, to replace that junky AutoZone 3" antenna. Funny thing is, I thought I was the original "stubby"?

I also got my 2019 Front Tow Hooks/Bolts in the mail today. I've ordered a true 2019 lower valance, but it'll have to be painted first, before I can install the tow hooks :)

Stuff is slowly coming in, but I wish things would go back to normal already!

My Lariat Engine Cover showed up while we were grocery shopping! I think that's pretty shitty of Ford to not include this on anything but the Lariat... Oh well, it's wasn't too pricey and I think it's a nice touch under the hood. I assumed this cover was made out of plastic, but nope, it's some kind of foam?

Didn't do much today, other than give it a much needed bath! Ugh, the joys of owning a Black truck.. I haven't had a Black truck in 11 years.... But, it's clean for the most part, except for the dust that stuck to it, immediately after washing/drying it off.... :(

While I was detailing it, I decided to remove that awful chrome dealer emblem from the tailgate!

I got my Vent Visors in yesterday, but installed them today. They're low profile Matte Black and I'm unsure if they'll grow on me or not, what do yall think?
IMG_20211031_154704299_HDR.jpg

Then, I added this on my garage/carport wall and honestly, I should've added one of these years ago!

Got my Gloss Black Mirror and Door Handle Covers this week, I'll try to get them installed this weekend, but I have a ton of things to do...

Yesterday, I ordered the Roush Weathertech liners, the Putco Lower Grille Screen and the Tailgate "damper", since I forgot to order all those last weekend...

This morning, I was browsing through the forums and found the Autostop Eliminator! I'll definitely add that to my list of parts to order, since I sometimes forget to hit the button...
I see a lot comments about the "Autostop Eliminator", why would odd this when it can be turned off from the vehicle setting on the steering wheel?

This is the first I've heard of this? I looked through my dash options, the day I brought the truck home and didn't see any way to turn it off?

Oh well, I already installed it, but I'm curious about it now, so I'm going to go check!

Unless it's hidden somewhere, I went all through the instrument cluster settings last night and didn't see anything about disabling auto start/stop...

Only videos online I found were either, what I did, the OBDII plug or they simply disconnected it from the battery...

There's an Auto Engine Off in the settings, but that's not for the auto start/stop... That's if the truck's sitting in the driveway, just running for 30 minutes or so, then it shuts the whole vehicle down.

Last night, I got my Matte Black Tailgate Letters, which I'll have to wait until it gets a little warmer, before I stick them on, but here they are.

I also got my pedal commander installed last night, but haven't gotten a chance to really test it out yet. A little side note here, it's blasted all over their website, saying it won't void the warranty, but in fine print on the instructions, it says, "If you're taking your vehicle in to be service, disconnect the Pedal Commander and put it out of site." But here it is:

I also FINALLY heard back from my Ford dealer about the tuning questions I've been having. So, you, in fact can install it, but your engine warranty will go away, if you do it. They charge $150 to install the tune and then, after either 3 years or 36k miles, that's it on the Rangers' engine warranty, regardless of its' OEM 50k mile warranty or the extended 70k mile warranty...

I'm probably going to wait until I get everything the way I want it, then throw the tune on.

I didn't know if you were talking about something that I haven't seen before, but I couldn't find anything on my truck... Thought it might've been a Lariat option, but noticed you have an XLT as well..., so I guess not?

My Ranger Lariat does have the button for auto stop disable. However you have to hit it every time you start the truck. It's on the buttons above the shifter and round 4x4 H, 4x4 L, 4x2H switch. I would rather have the three buttons the other Rangers have. Mine only has just three? trying to remember now where some have 6.

Yes, they all have this button, it's just annoying to have to remember to push it everytime... I have 4 buttons, but they're for extra options, like the diff locker I ordered. Having 6 buttons just means it has all the options available.

Friday, my Sportwing Cab Spoiler showed up, but I'm going to wait to put it on, when I get, (if I ever get?), my Air Design parts? If I ever get the parts, my dad's gonna get them painted for free :) I took it out today and test-fitted it though. I'll definitely need 2 people to install it!

My exhaust shipped out early and should be here this Friday?

I wish my Belltech rear drop would get shipped out, so I can drop this thing! I'm also thinking about ordering the Control Freak front drop soon?

Roush is still developing the tune from the '21 Ranger, (apparently it's different than the '19-'20 Rangers), so, I'm thinking about buying the Roush CAI and the Ford Performance Pack tune.

Then, all I'll need are wheels/tires.

So earlier today, I got some painters tape and my actual measuring tape and took some measurements for the suspension drop. It got too dark before I remembered to take a pic, but here's what I came up with, since I'm leaning more towards the full Belltech drop with their adjustable coilovers.

I didn't measure to the top of the wheel-well, but between the center of the fender lips, to the ground.

Rear stock was 39" Front stock was 35"

Rear drop of 6" (Belltech) should give me a new gap of 2.5" and front drop of 3" (Belltech) should give me a new gap of 2 1/8"?

My tire size will stay the same height as stock, which is 30.5"

I'm building it as close to the SEMA truck as possible. The wheel they used is a 20x10 with a -24mm offset (F&R) with a 265/50 tire. Tires will stick out 1.1" with the Air Design 2" fender flares. I've talked to Al at Control Freaks several times and he said nothing rubbed or touched anything on that drop, with that wheel/tire combo.

Since Belltechs' new 3"/6" drop kit just came out, but won't be available until January/February '22, I've got some time to mess around with drop/wheel/tire mess.

Still unsure what's going on with Air Design? My payment to them, has been pending on PayPal, for almost 2 weeks now. No return emails or FB messages or returned phone calls. Buying their parts is one of the major reasons I bought this truck, so their parts are a MUST!

One last note for tonight. Ford dealer is still acting ignorant about installing the tune/CAI on my truck. I build/modify everything myself, so I don't know any ASE mechanics or anything... Debating on just doing it all myself?
