iTunes won't stop when making or receiving calls

2021 Lariat with B&O. Truck is only 3 months old. Updates are current on truck and iPhone 13. Deleted phone and reconnected. I usually play iTunes for music through bluetooth, but when a call comes in, the music won't pause, the audio screen on the truck is disabled so I can't pause it there or the button on the HVAC panel, and have to resort to opening iTunes on the phone and pausing it there. Same thing happens when making a call. Does the same with CarPlay. Sirius and AM/FM works as it should. This didn't start doing this till a month after ownership. I've torn through my phone and sync settings and can't find anything. Any clue?

Have you used the steering wheel buttons? Received calls would pipe thru sound system.

Also have voice command. Press the button and say what it is

Nothing works to shut off the music when I get a call. I don't use voice commands. Haven't even activated it.

Does the same happen if your playing music on your phone and get a call While not on Bluetooth? maybe try that if you haven’t because as of now that sounds like a phone issue more than a sync/Bluetooth issue. Since it works fine on regular radio i think it’s the phone. Maybe so,etching is wrong with it or it’s a setting. Are you using apple music or iTunes. maybe Try apple music and you can still have all the music you bought in there. Just don’t pay the subscription.
