The change looks great, love the look of those clusters. Do you still have the faulty cluster? I am looking for faulty Ranger XL clusters like this one that people would normally dispose of, as I wish to retrofit the pointers/needles into the cluster in my (non-Ranger) car. I need 2 large pointers and 3 smaller ones. I dont need the whole of the cluster, just the pointers/needles so I need to chase up 2 sets. If you or anyone can help, that will be amazing.
Thanks, and I am very happy with it,but I am going to keep the factory cluster for now.

If I decide to change my mind,I will PM you.

Forscan will let you adjust the mileage. It’s in one direction only though. Larger numbers is doable. Subtracting is not doable.

Ugh,looked back to see if I wrote down exactly what and where I disabled these features, and sadly I did not document it.

I do recall though it was as simple as choosing disable said features in the enable/disable menu.

Dig around a bit,as it is absolutely doable. That way you don’t have to hit ok at every start up.
Thanks for checking, I'll look again. I'm wondering, if the unit comes from a XLT, maybe it has different options hardwired rather than a unit that came from factory in a FX4 XL. I'm hoping this isn't the case.

I still have my xl cluster if you are interested.
Thanks, I actually found a new 7 piece blue pointer set for 2003 -2006 GM on ebay for about $20 in Feb which should do the job after some minor adjustments. Thanks for the offer though.

Did the cluster swap today, very straight forward.
From the standard XL one that would blank out in the heat....

To one from an XLT

Hi. Did you have to reset anything, or just plug and play? I am thinking of swoping mine too.

New from Ford about 430,I found mine with mileage close to mine, since you can not change it,from a wrecked truck for 240.
I am a bit confused. Doesn't the mileage determined by the engine, how it ran and the year model? So, if I buy from an XLT that has 100000 km and mine has 80000km, so automatically my car will have 100000km? And also, will the UK instrument cluster from the XLT or Wildtrak fit on my South African XL? These are hard to find down here.
