Since buying my 2022 Ford Ranger Supercrew Lariat, I am "periodically" getting a black center dash infotainment display when I start the ignition.... nothing, no NAV,Audio,Phone, etc. displays... just a black empty screen. To get it to work again, I need to shut off ignition and leave it sit for awhile before getting back in and now again pressing break petal and hitting the Start button. When I talk to Ford Service, they can't find anything wrong since, obviously, it works fine when I can get it in for servicing. Any suggestions? Thanks all....

Right... I do not get the Ford logo at all, and thus nothing after that. Thanks....

I've had the same issue. It occurs every few months, and goes away after restarting the vehicle.
Interestingly, i think it's still active, since pressing the screen seems o hit buttons (as evidenced by button pressing sounds, if i hit something that would normally be visible)

You could try a master reset. It is in the "General" area of the menus. This seems to fix a lot of gremlins floating in the system. You will have to re-pair your phone after this.

This is not a solution to the problem but holding the radio Power and seek forward >> buttons together for 5-10 seconds will reboot the radio. It will probably get you going again without having to restart the truck.

My screen went blank once and I couldn't do anything with the radio. I got home and did the soft reset following the above instructions and haven't had a problem since.

Not sure why it goes dark but I just hit that button to bring it back.

Thanks... I was unaware of that back door reset. I haven't had the problem since my original post, but I did test your reboot instruction and see that it does work. I will use that back-door reboot next time the problem arises.
