2.0" out of the box , when on the vehicle, the coil preload can be adjusted for up to 3.5"...

Simply just jack up till weight is off tire, loosen the little nylon set screw, and turn the collar... use the setsrew to count the full turns...One full turn will be approximately 1/8" of preset height.... great for adjusting out the Ranger lean....No Spanner Wrench needed. .... I have a 12" steel rod with a diameter that fits snugly in a collar hole...works great , better than a Spanner..

Be aware that you do not want to go more that 2.5 inches of lift up front. Reason being, 1 you may have to get new upper control arms to get back into alignment(if you didn't get any already), 2 you risk putting the CV axles an an excessive angle where a diff drop may be required(kind of pointless to do a diff drop if going OffRoad).

Frenchy makes valid points....when going to a 2.5 extended travel coil over several other upgrades are required to get the full use without binding and alignment issues...UCA and tie rod ends being the main two even with only a 2.5" coilover preset lift height...

And be aware that Ford Program alignment specs will no longer apply.
Pictures of my setup and alignment when I was at 2.5" of preload lift height....

I am now set at 3.0" of lift height front/ .75" rear and awating for the weather and time for me install the ICON 2.5 remote reservoir CDCV and piggy backs on all 4 corners...currently in my pile of stuff I need to install.....?

I'm only planning to go about 1/2"-3/4" lift, I tow often and don't want to lose much rake

Ok, how did you get the "lean" out? More lift on drivers front to lower passenger rear?

btw.

I have Bilstein 5100's at 1.8" setting w/ factory springs, and I replaced the rear leafs with Icon's leafs and got a 1.5" lift. So the 1/2" lean on rear left is still there, gotten use to it anyway, and I just about have the factory rake again. Hence getting ICON's.

Thanks,
Jason

Exactly as you described....I have the front drivers side at 3.0"" and passenger at 2.75"....I figure with me sitting in the drivers seat I am close to level driving down the road...I also have the ICON leaf spring pack in the rear....by getting the front more level, the rear went from a 3/8" difference in side to side height , to just 1/4" now,
The ICON leafs have settled at height that added 3/4" , and I am now about 1/2" rake front to rear when unloaded

Edit: Kind of hoping when I replace the ICON 2.0 VS series rear shocks with the 2.5 CDCV piggy backs the rear will sit at a little lower height with the valve set at a softer setting..

Well install went easy, i got them set to 1" above stock. Rides 1000% better than the fx4 setup. Does anyone know how much they settle? Also a 3/8th extension with a 8mm Allen on the end is perfect for adjusting them lol

How did you measure the exposed thread? Is it from the top cap to the top of the adjustment collar, or from the top cap to mid-way the adjustment collar?

I currently have mine adjusted, but I can’t judge how much further I have to go and I don’t want to go above the max preload!
